Apple’s new iTunes 11

Just a little earlier today, Apple’s has released there iTunes 11. It now comes with new features. Some like a miniplayer, a progress bar, and a feature that shows the albums that are multi-disced all as one.

Currently I have adopted iTunes 10 and it really is a good piece of software.somehow I can’t see them making it any better than it already is right now. Great features as of now and great way of giving each album a colored theme when clicking on reach one.

My opinion is that they shouldn’t keep updating it unless they really need to. Beside right now it’s just not necessary. Seriously. It looks fantastic. If they’ve happen to changing any UI features it’s just gonna feel like a turn off. It’s something that I will be able to use every time.

Tell me your opinion on this. Leave some insight. Do you think they should change it or keep our the same?

Staples Sells 3-D Printers

Staples is now selling a 3D printer for almost dirt cheap around $1,300. The name of the printer is call “The Cube.” What it does is that it takes the image that  you created in your blueprint. The printer then uses that digital design blueprint to build the item layer by layer with plastic.

Basically, Staples just started selling these 3D printers. They were out before, but now they just got noticed an hyped up. Nobody really wanted one because they were all really expensive.

I wouldn’t want one because i actually don’t have the money for it.

What is your opinion on this?

Can Google Now replace The Beloved Siri?

Surprise! surprise! Google Now is coming your iPhone. Basically competition between Google’s and Apple’s assistant to service as the smartphones primary source of everyone’s basic and major updates. Some people believe that having Siri reduces the use of even going to said search engine because Siri gives specific information already.

My complete and honest opinion on this is that Google really needs to step off. Google now is and was meant to be an Android thing, but then they want to go ahead and add to it to iPhone? Are you serious? This is becoming ridiculous. It’s not even fair anymore. First they want to be Major rivals but then next they want to be best friends and share one of the most world known search engines. Come on Google! What are you thinking? You and Apple are two completely different OS’s. Keep it that way.

What do you think? DO you think that google and Apple should merge? Or stay apart as they always did?

Obesity and Your Kids

In summary, this article talks about how there are too many obese kids in our country and that they’re eating foods with high calories rates which cause them to be fat. The NRA (National Restaurant Association) is trying their best to reduce the amount of calories in kids menus so that we don’t end up with too many obese children in America.

In analysis, the CSPI nutritional says that there were no more than 430 calories in each meal and no more than 770 milligrams of sodium in each meal. They also say that there are 19 restaurant chains offering kids meals and 56% did not offer any meal meeting CSPI standards. For example, he worst restaurant they saw was Applebee’s grilled cheese sandwich. Which they examined and observed its 1,200 calories and 21 grams of saturated fat. This created problems and initially caused people and health groups to retaliate on the situation.

In my opinion, this doesn’t really affect me because I don’t eat a whole lot of fast food and restaurant food. So substantially, I could actually care less about this entire article.

Does this affect you in any way? Hoe does this make you feel?

Comedian Kevin Hart Arrested For Drunk Driving

In summary, one of thew most famous comedians Kevin Hart got arrested for drunk driving and was charged with DUI. He later tweeted that he considered this to be a wake up call and that he would now need to think more because that night, he wasn’t. The police booked him with a $5,000 bond.

My Analysis on this article is that maybe Kevin Hart just might be following in his fathers foot steps. He may not want to, or it wasn’t even his intention, but it may just be destined to happen. Could be a genetic thing. Or not. Depends on what Kevin Hart does with his life because before any of this happened, he was on the right track and doing good. Until he fell off.

My true opinion on this, is that I almost don’t care. Yes, hes a very good comedian but I could care less whether he gets in trouble or not.

How does this make you feel?

Texas College Stabbing Leaves 15 Injured

Earlier this morning there was stabbing at Lone Star College’s CyFair campus in Houston. So far they have captured one suspect. There was one student who was able to take pictures of the chaotic scene that left people running in fear. \

It seems that There was a student that may have just been ticked off by some outside sources in their life and happen to decide to take their (possible) anger out on other students. This one attack left 15 kids wounded and they all had to be lifted by a helicopter to a hospital.

In my Opinion, This person could have had some type of issue with something(s) or some other some other source of misery and just got fed with the people that they were around so they decided to take upon themselves to “get rid of them” per say.

How does this make you feel? Do you think there could be some rational reason that this person would do such a thing? What would have done in this situation?

Gun Ban In Connecticut

The basis of this article is that Connecticut has passed a new law that is now banning more than 100 types of guns. You are unable to purchase high-capacity magazines for your weapons and you also have to go through a background check. The article states that they have passed this law because of the tragedy that happened in Newtown, Connecticut. This article states “limits the capacity of ammunition magazines to 10 rounds and bans armor-piercing bullets.” So the people who do own armor-piercing ammo, they are not liable to use it.

So what this article is basically talking about is that the governor of Connecticut passed a law saying that restricts its citizens from buying certain machine guns and high-capacity ammo magazines. In my opinion i think that it’s really going to affect the people who own multiple guns and go out to the range on a daily. Maybe soon they’re going to make a group to rebel against this act and try to get it changed. But only if they happen to care that much to do so. In the end it doesn’t seem likely that they can do anything about it because it’s suppose to be for the people’s best safety.

Do you think that this law will cause future problems for the people who own guns already? Would this be something you’d be against? Or is this what you’ve been waiting for to happen?

Electronic May Be Bad For Our Future Generation

As I was starting the internet, I came across an article about electronic being a negative impact on our future generation. While reading though the article it says that a mother and her friend were at a restaurant and the mother’s kids wouldn’t stop arguing. So to resolve the problem she pulled out two Apple iPads and handed them to either of the kids. The children got silent almost immediately. As the two friends got back to their conversation, the mother asked her friend if it was a bad influence on her children giving them the iPad at the dinner table. Later a few scientist did some research and found that when young kids are too much involved with electronics, they have the possibility to get anti-social and develope emotional problems. You can read more from the full article below.

bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/03/31/disruptions-what-does-a-tablet-do-to-the-childs-mind/?partner=rss&emc=rss

So what do you think? Should kids be cut off from electronics and become more social? Or do you think that they (the kids) can become social on their own?

Jobs On the Rise in Feb. and Unemployment Drops

So, there is this article talking about how our economy added 236,000 jobs in February of this year.  This is actually a great article because it could have a future affect on myself being a 14 year old. It’s saying that the unemployment rate has dropped from 7.9% to 7.7% in Jan. This may seem like a very small change but it’s a big step in the right direction of helping get a job when I’m older. Only if I play my cards right and make the right decisions.
